Sam Boyer

Sensei Sam Boyer began training in the Martial Arts in 1985. He began training in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate under Hanshi Greg Tearney.

In 1991 sensei met Shihan Jeff Sgarlata. Shihan Sgarlata began teaching Sensei the multi-style martial arts system. This system is based upon Kenpo Karate, mixed with the kicking of Taekwon-do and Muai Thai kickboxing.

In 1995 Sensei Boyer moved to Robertsdale, Alabama. His first priority was to find a Martial Arts school. With Taekwon-do being the predominant style of the area, he immediately began training in Taekwon-do under Mike and Christina Morris. After achieving second degree black belt in Taekwon-do, Sensei found himself craving his original Kenpo based system.

After competing in karate and taekwon-do tournaments for years, winning dozens of grand championships, he is now happiest sharing with others the wonderful benefits that he himself has been blessed with through the martial arts.  He also trains in Brazilian Jiujitsu under Shihan Gene Dunn and Professor Brian Glick.
